A large piece of undyed linen cloth with two preserved edges of the original textile, a selvedge (or vertical edge), and the end band with warp fringes (at the bottom edge). This textile also features a rare blue embroidered (using a decorative darning stitch) checkerboard pattern in a lower corner near the selvedge.
