1950s
The dress came from 'Horrockses' of England. This refers to a Preston (Lancashire) based cotton mill that produced 'Horrockses Fashion' from 1946 to the present day (2019). During the early 1950's Queen Elizabeth used Horrockses dresses on various Commonwealth tours.
