Studio portrait of a young man in a military uniform with large shoulder tassels. The caption on the reverse states: 'W.C.HEIJENBERG PHOTOGRAPHE UTRECHT Nachtegaalstraat no. 40'. There is a text in pencil on the album page that states: 'Oom Dirk'. He is leaning against a table on which is placed his sjako (cap/helmet).
