Mid-19th century
At first glance the embroidery looks hand made using a thick cotton thread however on the reverse side the thread moves from one part of the repeating motifs to another in exactly the same manner indicating it was made on a 'Hand Embroidery Machine that was popular from the mid-19th century onwards.
