Early 20th century
Pair of minature ('lotus') shoes with a 'ladder' on the upper toe section. The shoes are made from a dark blue satin decorated with an embroidered pattern of plants flowers and a butterfly. The heel is decorated with finely embroidered floral motifs. The soles also have quilted floral motifs.
